We offer expert services that will provide a comprehensive business review designed to identify your organization’s strengths and weaknesses concerning to internal inventory controls & inventory record accuracy in areas of receiving, warehouse, (storage), work-in-process, waste and shipping. Detailed policy and procedures would be developed as well as inventory accuracy measurements within the process of material handling.

ICM will partner with the client to deploy any developed policy, procedures, and training materials to its employees, as well provide in-depth trainings to employees where needed or required. Employee testing of operational procedures can be conducted as deemed necessary; as well as audits of existent or newly develop procedures can be performed.

Furthermore, in order to ascertain that all required staff acquire the needed trainings per the programs developed we will adopt our clients work schedules as needed. Our trainings as well as documentation can also be done in Spanish for those businesses that require additional assistance in a foreign language. We also have consultants based offshore that would perform these services for convenience to our customer.

Comprehensive Business Review on Material Handling

Identify organization's strengths and weaknesses concerning to internal inventory controls and inventory record accuracy in areas of receiving, warehouse and storage, work-in-process, waste and shipping (including in-transits northbound and/or southbound).

Provide recommendations for improvements on processes where internal controls are needed.

Evaluate existing IT systems or manual systems (as applicable) in the areas under review for enhancements if needed to ascertain the proper controls exist to handle the materials incoming & outgoing transactions.

Evaluate and recommend implementation (if applicable) of inventory record accuracy measurements in corresponding areas around material handling.

Policy and Procedure

Develop written policy and procedures on material handling within the processes of manufacturing and distribution. Include in the designed documentation internal inventory controls where deemed necessary to ensure adequate movement of assets within the processes.

Review current inventory manual procedures and training manuals for completeness and validation against current processes (where available).

Partner with client to roll-out any recommendations made to the process.

Training

Custom design documentation on training for material handling, cycle counting, and physical inventory.

Implement training programs for operational and/or IT system on performing cycle counting, physical inventory, and movement of materials.

Perform custom designed employee testing programs on established procedures to determine the level of training needed for the employees.

Develop and custom design internal inventory controls and inventory accuracy awareness programs to explain to the Associates the vital importance and part of the organization attitudes that must be achieved in order to obtain successful inventory accuracy management.

Develop and establish operational compliance audit programs to be performed by either Supervisors or designated employees to ensure that established procedures are being adhered to at all times.

Provide training programs in Spanish language where deemed necessary. We can provide bilingual assistance if needed within USA or abroad to achieve all training requirements of our customer.

Executive Recruiting Services

We concentrate in the fields of Procurement, Inventory Controls, Internal Auditor (Financial & Operational).

Implement Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory Programs

Identify strengths and weaknesses of current cycle counting and physical inventory programs in the areas where material is stored or handled.

Develop and custom design cycle counting and physical inventory programs for production materials, supply MRO, finished goods and others.

Within the development of the programs review or implement inventory accuracy metrics (measurement) that will be used to monitor the progress on inventory controls and accuracy.

Review IT systems (where applicable) for capabilities on handling cycle counting and physical inventory processes and transactions. Recommend IT system enhancements (as needed) to automate the process of item selection to be counted (e.g., sample size, frequency of counts and items to be selected).

Work jointly with clients to deploy new or updated programs on cycle counting and/or physical inventory, to ensure employees fully understand the processes on how physical counts are performed.

If language barriers (Spanish) exist where manufacturing, distribution centers or suppliers are located, we can work together with our clients to perform training in the newly established procedures to ensure consistent performance in the program among the whole supply chain.

Bar-Coding

Evaluate and provide recommendations and assistance on implementing bar-coding devices/systems in the areas of material handling.

Translation

This service is suitable for any type of business documentation (including but not limited to policy, procedures, training material etc.)

Provide training in foreign language (Spanish) to employees and/or subcontractors.

Other Services

Assist client in creating within the areas of material handling an Inventory Control/Accuracy Analyst to manage the day-to-day issues or problems that may occur due to non-compliance of policy and procedures as well as to continue the training programs to existent or new hires of the company in the areas of material handling. This person (Analyst) would also be prepared (by Us) to take the task of on-going procedure updates as well as ensure that inventory accuracy levels are consistently maintained throughout the operation.
